The Outpost Cafe
Welcome to The Outpost Cafe. Nestled in the heart of the Gold Coast Hinterland at Canungra, the Outpost Cafe is the home of the best pies in Australia.

Originally built in 1946 as a small cafe serving 120 meals per day to the Canungra Army Barracks, The Outpost Cafe has developed into an iconic Gold Coast tour destination and attraction for the locals and its visitors from many different walks of life.

In 2019 BP Canungra was opened right next door and makes the roadside Cafe the perfect “One Stop Shop” to meet all the needs of visiting travelers and locals!

The Outpost Cafe & BP Canungra is proudly owned and operated by Andrew & Michael Covino who have taken the local business into the future with the vision that has seen it become ‘The Hinterland’s Favourite Cafe’.
