The Canungra Times was established in 2005 by Stu Comley and bought in 2011 by Keer Moriarty. It remains an independently owned and run newspaper with contributions by many of the town’s colourful characters and community leaders.

We print 2,500 copies per month which are distributed on the first Friday of each month to Canungra, Beechmont, Tamborine Village, Tamborine Mountain and Beaudesert.

Our aim is to share the news of our district with residents and visitors and to promote local businesses and community groups – primarily the towns of Canungra, Beechmont and Tamborine Village.
