Dieter Luske (Lüske) is a writer and author who enjoys life and its journey. He loves creating with Giselle, his artist wife, in their enchanted organic garden, dabbles in art and music, and writes whenever the creative juices are flowing.
Dieter is the author of 7 books and has published hundreds of holistic lifestyle philosophy articles and lives by his motto:
“By attempting the impossible, one is meaningfully occupied (D.L.).”
A writer’s working space:
It’s called a working space, but it never feels like work. I enjoy writing, and luckily, it comes easily to me.
I write in a style called “Pantser,” meaning to “fly by the seat of my pants.” I write without a detailed outline or plan. I let intuition guide me, and I don’t know exactly how the story will unfold. To make that work without being blocked by doubt, one has to be able to trust one’s intuition.
The opposite of a pantser is a “plotter,” who utilises outlines or detailed plans to structure their novel. – I tried that once, but felt it stifled my creativity.
I write most days but don’t have a precise writing schedule. I don’t need to get into the mood; I can sit down anytime and start writing.
